(REXBURG, ID) – Tuesday’s torrential downpour has left some Rexburg residents scratching their heads about what to do next.  The storm’s hail damage left several farmers with hundreds of thousands of dollars in open insurance claims. Some homeowners say the city of Rexburg is partly to blame for not having adequate measures in place to keep a canal from overflowing its banks. Home restoration crews have been busy renovating basements and low-level apartments before mold spores develop. Mayor Richard Woodland says financial assistance may be available for those that qualify.
