Robert Downey Jr. Tops “Forbes'” Top Earning Actors List

ABC/Ida Mae Astute(NEW YORK) — Robert Downey Jr. has once again topped Forbes’ list of the top earning actors, with estimated earnings of $75 million between June 2013 and June 2014 — the same amount he earned during the previous year.

Downey Jr. is the highest-earning actor in Hollywood mostly due to his involvement in Marvel’s Iron Man and Avengers movies.

Dwayne Johnson ranks second on Forbes’ list, with an estimated $52 million, in part because of his work in the Fast & Furious franchise. His latest film, Hercules, opens this Friday.

Bradley Cooper comes in at number three. He earned an estimated $46 million the past year, during which he earned an Oscar nomination for American Hustle.  Cooper is voicing Rocket Raccoon in the upcoming Marvel film Guardians of the Galaxy, which should help solidify his position on Forbes’ list.

Leonardo DiCaprio takes the number-four spot, with an estimated $39 million in earnings, due to movies like The Wolf of Wall Street.
