Barber, who you know as Kimmy Gibbler, said her children are just now getting into her iconic 1990s show and the 38-year-old mother of two admitted her daughter Felicity, 7, was excited to meet mom’s famous friend Candace.

“My kids are 10 [son Tate] and 7 so they are at the height of Full House fandom,” she told US Weekly in a joint video interview. “My daughter was so excited to come here today and to meet Candace. And I’m like, ‘You’ve already met Candace!’ But this is the first time she’s seen Candace since she became a fan of the show.”

Bure — who played D.J. Tanner on the popular show — talked about how the two have stayed close all these years since the show went off the air.

“I think we value friendships. And it’s true: I can’t look at any other show and see the casts that are still hanging out and are as tight as we are,” Bure said.

“I think being moms really brought us closer together,” Bure added of Barber.

Bure is mom to daughter Natasha, 16, and sons Lev, 14, and Maksim, 12.

Bure also revealed that for son Maksim, it paid off that his mom was an actress after he had struggled to make friends. “I asked, ‘How was your day today?’ And he was like, ‘It was great…Everybody found out you’re my mom, and you were D.J. on Full House, and now everybody wants to be my friend!'”
