Chubbuck Sears Closing

(CHUBBUCK, ID) – The Sears store at the Pine Ridge Mall in Chubbuck is closing.
The company announced Thursday that the store will close in early November. Sears is changing its business model after operating at a loss of nearly $940 million last year.
The closure will mean 28 employees will have to find jobs elsewhere. Those eligible will receive severance packages and opportunities to apply at Sears and Kmart locations in other areas.
A liquidation sale will begin August 15.
