Chukars Score Wire-to-Wire Win over Brewers

IDAHO FALLS, ID — The Chukars scored in each of the first four innings and never looked back leading all the way in an 8-4 win over Helena on Thursday.
In the first frame, a Robert Pehl double, on his three hits on the night, brought home the first run of the game for Idaho Falls (25-24, 5-6).
Chukars starter Brooks Pounders held the Brewers (18-32, 5-7) scoreless through his four innings of work. He allowed just two hits.
Every Chukars player reached base in the win, and all but Corey Toups had at least one hit.
The Chukars continue the seven game homestand at Melaleuca Field on Friday when they begin a three game series with Missoula.
