(WEST YELLOWSTONE, MT) – A tourist crashed a drone into the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park last week.

The park bans the use of camera-equipped drones, since they’re considered a recreational activity. All such activities must be cleared by the National Park Service and have to be safe for both visitors and the environment.

The drone remains in 160-degree water. Authorities are devising a plan to have it removed.
