Fatal Crash Near Idaho Falls

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A California man was killed in a crash along I-15 south of Idaho Falls Sunday morning.
Idaho State Police say 66-year-old Roger Gibson of Grass Valley was headed southbound on a motorcycle when he lost control of his bike, overcorrected, and struck a guardrail.
The accident happened shortly before 9 a.m. The victim died at the scene. Officials aren’t sure if Gibson was wearing a helmet. An investigation is ongoing.
