Markets Dip Following Monday Gains

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — After Monday’s gains, the markets fell on Tuesday despite positive jobs numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 9.44 to a close of 16,560.54.
The Nasdaq dropped 12.08 to 4,389.25, while the S&P 500 finished at 1,933.75, down 3.17 from Monday’s close.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics noted that there were over 4.5 million job openings in June in their latest report. That figure is the highest in over 10 years.
