(MINOT, ND) – A Shelley man could spend up to five years in prison for negligent homicide.
Clark Christensen, who was convicted this week, maintains that it was a sneezing fit that caused him to collide with several vehicles at a stop light in North Dakota last year. Prosecutors, however, believe 58-year-old Christensen failed to maintain the brakes on his semitrailer.
The crash killed 21-year-old Megan Shoal, a Montana native and a student at Minot  State University. A sentencing date has not been set.
