(FORT HALL, ID) – The 51st-annual Shoshone-Bannock Festival kicks off this week. The Bannock Reunion starts today, followed by two parades on Thursday morning.

Organizers anticipate that more than ten thousand people will take part in this year’s festivities, including several drummers and dancers from around the U.S. and Canada.

U.S. Rep. Mike Simpson will be at Friday night’s pow-wow. Admission to the Indian National Finals Rodeo on Friday will be $5 for adults and $3 for children 17 to 7. Those under 7 will receive free admission.
