At least eight Israeli-Arab women were killed and more than 20 others were injured in a major road accident in southern Israel, according to police officials on the scene.
Police say a truck collided with a bus full of Bedouin women on a road in the Negev area.
The bus driver says he was bringing the Muslim women back from Jerusalem, where they’d prayed at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the morning.
Israeli police say they found a 14-year-old boy behind the wheel of the truck.
The boy and his father have since been taken into custody.
