Study: Sex Is Still A Touchy Subject for Many

iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Let’s talk about sex. Better still, let’s not.
Although people may enjoy having sex or watching it, conversing about sex is another matter entirely, according to a NerdWallet survey of 1,200 adults in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco.
While none of these cities would certainly be regarded as prudish, 31 percent of respondents confessed that sex is the topic they feel least comfortable discussing.
The second-most taboo subject is equally surprising: 26 percent of respondents said they most hated talking about money.
The more familiar standbys, religion and politics, actually finished third and fourth on the list of least favorite topics, at 25 percent and 18 percent, respectively.
