Josh Wise Parts Ways with Premium Motorsports

iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Josh Wise announced Monday that he has split from Premium Motorsports and the No. 98 car.

The 32-year-old tweeted, “I have parted ways with Premium Motorsports. The team and I did not share the same goals moving forward.”

“I wish them the best and look forward to what the future holds,” he added.

Wise began the Sprint Cup season with Phil Parsons Racing, which was recently taken over by Premium Motorsports.

Wise has raced in all of the Cup events this season except for the Daytona 500. He’s 36th in the points standings.
