Gas Prices Down Seven Cents in Last Week

The latest data shows the average gallon of gas around the country now costs just under $2.44. The steepest drop in the last week came in the Midwest, where a gallon of gas dropped by 12 cents on average, while those on the East Coast got just over three cents of relief per gallon.

California remained the most expensive state measured by the EIA in which to buy gas, with a gallon costing $3.26.
