Report: Two Duggar Sisters to Star in TLC Specials
Published at | Updated at(NEW YORK) — A couple of members of the Duggar family are making a comeback on TLC.
Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard will star in two or three new specials on the cable network, the former home of their family’s cancelled reality series 19 Kids and Counting, The Hollywood Reporter notes.
The specials will focus on Dillard and her family as they prepare to move to El Salvador for missionary work, and Seewald and her husband as they get set to welcome their first child.
At least one special is expected to premiere by the end of the year.
19 Kids and Counting was cancelled in July, a couple of months after their brother, Josh Duggar, responded to allegations of molestation that happened years ago, starting when he was 14 years old.
“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends….I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged,” he said in a statement on Facebook.
Duggar later apologized for a pornography addiction and for cheating on his wife.
