POCATELLO — W. James “Jim” Johnston, Steve Brown and Roger Bray won their respective elections for seats on the Pocatello City Council on Tuesday, Nov.3.

Ten candidates were vying for the three positions.

Brown got 61 percent of the vote in his race, Bray got 42 percent and Johnston got 58 percent. See a more in-depth look at the results here.

Brown said what pushed him to the top was his “willingness to listen to everyone, and make decisions that better the city, not a select few.”

“Anytime you win you have to feel good,” said Bray. “We addressed the issues people wanted, and that put us over the top.”

Each of the these seats carries a four-year term in office.
