Pocatello man arrested for drugs, unlawful possession of firearm

POCATELLO – Around 11:30 Wednesday night Nov. 11, Pocatello Police Officers observed a white Honda Civic commit several traffic law violations in the area of Beth and Lucille, according to a police statement.
Officers conducted a traffic stop at and found Jack Morelos behind the wheel. According to police, Morelos was found to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Morelos was also in possession of over one pound of Methamphetamine and a Colt AR-15 which wasn’t loaded.
Police arrested Morelos for DUI, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance. Morelos was booked into Bannock County Jail with an out of state DUI bond of $2000 and two felony charges with no bond. Morelos will appear in court on Thursday Nov. 12.
