Company gives all employees $100K Christmas bonus

HOUSTON, Texas — A Houston company is giving every single one of its employees a Christmas bonus they’ll never forget.
KTVU reports all 1,380 employees at Hilcorp, one the largest privately held oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in the United States, received a $100,000 Christmas bonus this year.
“It’s just a true gift and I don’t think that myself along with everyone is not going to give less than 100% every day,” receptionist Amanda Thompson told a reporter.
Hilcorp was named on the 2015 ‘Fortune 100 ‘Best Companies to Work For‘ list for the third year in a row.
Thompson says she plans to keep the money in her bank account for a rainy day.
