IDAHO FALLS — An Idaho Falls man was arrested the night of Tuesday, Dec. 22, after police said he intended to sell and deliver prescription pills.

Christopher A. Nelson, 18, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and on an Idaho Falls warrant.

Idaho Falls police officers responded to the 2000 block of Meppen to serve a warrant to Nelson and for a narcotic complaint around 7:30 p.m., according to police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen. Hansen did not give details on the warrant.

Officers found Nelson had three bags of Oxycodone, around 200 pills, which they said he planned to sell.

Nelson was arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
