POCATELLO — Two men were arrested on drug charges after a clerk at KJ’s convenience store called police because they were acting strangely.

Michael Shawn Grischkowsky, 27, and Quentin J. Carolan, 19, both of Pocatello, went into the store several times and used the restroom. The clerk thought they were going to rob the store and called police just after midnight Sunday, Dec. 20. The clerk also found a suspicious item in the bathroom, according to police spokeswomen Dianne Brush.

After police arrived at the store at 1510 Pocatello Circle Road, they questioned the pair, and a police dog alerted officers to their car. Police found heroin inside.

A female was also involved in the incident, police said.

Both men were arrested on suspicion on felony possession of a controlled substance. They were booked into the Bannock County Jail. No bond had been set as of Monday afternoon.
