2 men taken into custody following incident on I-15 near Idaho Falls

The following is a news release from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.
IDAHO FALLS — At approximately 4:40 p.m., a Bonneville County Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle southbound on Interstate 15 near mile post 114 with two male suspects inside.
The vehicle failed to yield and rammed into the deputy’s patrol car.
The Deputy then forced the suspect’s vehicle off into the median where it stopped. Both suspects were wanted on felony warrants and taken into custody.
This investigation is ongoing. Names and further information will be available tomorrow.
I-15 is back open again.
