The following is a news release from the Idaho Department of Transportation.

RIGBY – Repair of Henry’s Fork Bridge, located on Idaho 33 about five miles west of Rexburg near Beaver Dick Park, is underway. The project, which will include repairing piers, sealing the deck and installing erosion barriers to protect piers from scour, is scheduled for completion in mid- November.

Travel is reduced to one lane, with an electronic signal or flaggers directing traffic through the work zone. Motorists should be prepared to stop. Work mostly occurs during the day, Monday through Saturday.

A screen placed around piers in the water will be lit at night to notify swimmers, floaters and boaters of the construction.

The transportation department awarded the $876,500 contract to Cannon Builders Inc., of Blackfoot.
