DRIGGS — Late yesterday morning, Tuesday, July 5, the Teton County Sheriff’s deputies located a deceased woman when responding to a call at a local residence near Driggs.

Currently the death has been ruled as suspicious and an investigation is ongoing. The Sheriff’s office is working with the Idaho State Police.

The name of the deceased and the exact address of the occurrence are being withheld, so as not to compromise the ongoing investigation.

“The Sheriff’s Office is withholding the name until all next-of-kin notifications can be completed,” added Mitchell Golden, administrative manager for the Teton County Sheriff’s office.

Golden said more information will be issued as soon as it is possible and appropriate to do so.
