IDAHO FALLS — A 19-year-old Idaho Falls woman has been charged with raping a 15-year-old boy.

Sierra D. Brockman was arrested Saturday night and charged with one felony count of rape where the victim is under the age of 16.

Police say while investigating a theft case, they learned Brockman had sexual relations with a 15‐year‐old boy.

Brockman and the 15-year-old were the suspects in the theft case.

Parents of the teen told police that the two were involved sexually about six months ago. In Idaho, there is no “statutory rape” law. Brockman’s alleged crime falls under the general rape statute in Idaho Code 18-6101.

Brockman is being held in the Bonneville County Jail on $20,000 bond.
