IDAHO FALLS — KTHK, 105.5 and 105.9 The Hawk, and Riverbend Communications held their 4th annual Star Guitar Charity Auction on The Early Bird Show Oct. 20-31.

Eight guitars were auctioned off that had been signed by country stars like Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Keith Urban and dozens more.

A total of $6,700 for Veteran’s Mobility Corp., Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect and music programs in Idaho Falls School District #91 & Bonneville Joint District #93.

“This year’s Star Guitar Charity Auction was a testament to the power of local radio and businesses impacting local charities,” Hawk program director and morning host Don Jarrett said. “I want to thank our sponsors at East Idaho Credit Union and Chesbro Music Co. plus all the record labels and country artists for generously donating their time and signatures this year.”

Nearly $28,000 has been raised for local charities as part of the annual event over the past four years.
