Forsgren: Things are looking up with these sky photos

  Published at

I’m not sure from whence my fascination with sky came. If I had to guess, I’d say it has something to do with “Star Wars,” the source of my fascination with outer space. After all, I had to look up through the sky to see the stars, where I was sure there were warring factions blasting lasers at one another.

Anyway, I love snapping photos of the sky. I love clouds, I love images where the sky is bisected by objects. And, of course, I love sunsets. And I’ve put together a collection of some of my favorite shots I’ve taken in the past year or so. Some are straight-up sky and cloud shots, other have stuff in the foreground. Some are sunsets, and if you get the right sunset, all you have to do is point and shoot.

Anyway, here are my sky shots. Enjoy!
