Man arrested on drug charges as part of ongoing investigation

BONNEVILLE COUNTY — A man was booked into jail for felony trafficking marijuana and several other felony drug charges are pending.
Caden Sato, 21, was stopped by Bonneville County Sheriff deputies and Idaho Falls Police officers around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday near 1st St. and Ammon Rd.
Sato was the subject of an ongoing drug investigation by the BCSO/IFPD Special Investigations Unit and was found to be in possession of just under three pounds of marijuana, according to a Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Detectives served a search warrant on two separate locations, the 500 S. block of 45th E. and the 3000 block of Sandy Dr., where they say more than six pounds of marijuana were seized along with other suspected illegal prescriptions and drugs.
Sato was Booked into the Bonneville County Jail and authorities say drug activity by Sato and other potential associates is under investigation.
