Forsgren: My birthday 2017 playlist
Published at | Updated atI’m writing this as the clock winds down on my birthday for this year. I always find myself to be especially reflective on days like my birthday, and I’m hearing a lot of songs my head. Songs that are full of meaning for me today. I thought I’d share some of these tunes with you. I won’t jibber-jabber about them too much. I’ll just let the songs speak for themselves …
Mastodon – “Oblivion”
Weezer – “The World Has Turned And Left Me Here”
The Clash – “Lost in the Supermarket”
Ryan Adams – “Note to Self: Don’t Die”
Ryan Miller – “Big Machine”
Anthrax – “Breathing Lightning”
Elvis Costello – “Cheap Reward”
Times of Grace – “Worlds Apart”
In Flames – “Come Clarity”
The Ramones – “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up”
So, yeah. I get kind of melancholy on my birthday. That’s OK. Tomorrow’s a new day. And hopefully this trip round the Sun will be more fulfilling than the last one.
