REXBURG — Authorities filed additional felony drug charges against an Upper Valley man Wednesday, and they say his case is part of a larger investigation.

Cody Dilliard, 30, has been charged with three counts of felony delivery of a controlled substance, which in this case refers to marijuana.

Dilliard was arrested Monday at 374 West Main Street in Rexburg on a felony drug warrant stemming from an previous arrest in early March. At that time, he had been charged with felony possession of drugs and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released on his own recognizance two weeks later, but failed to meet the conditions of his release and a warrant was issued in May.

Rexburg Police Capt. Randy Lewis said this case is part of a larger investigation into drug distribution in the Upper Valley. More arrested and charges are pending in relation to the investigation.

Dilliard is being held in the Madison County Jail on a 100,000 bond.
