Man taken to EIRMC following motorbike crash

BONE — A man was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center Wednesday evening after a motorbike crash about a mile south of Bone Rd. and Lincoln Rd.

The 18-year-old was on his bike with a riding partner, according to a friend. They were at the bottom of a hill along some ATV trails.

The incident was originally reported as an ATV crash. After crews responded, the man was loaded onto a small trailer that was attached to an ATV. The ATV then drove to a nearby ambulance and the man was taken to EIRMC.

A medical helicopter was called to the scene but rescue workers were able to get the victim to safety without assistance of the chopper.

Bonneville County Sheriff deputies along with Idaho Falls Firefighters and paramedics responded to the wreck.
