One man dead after rollover crash in Bingham County
Published at | Updated atBLACKFOOT — Bingham County Sheriff deputies are investigating a fatal one-vehicle crash in the area of 1350 West in Bingham County along Highway 26.
The accident occurred at about 6:15 p.m. Thursday.
Police report the vehicle went off the road and rolled. The driver, James W. Gerard, 35 of Chubbuck, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers, 30-year-old Tyler C. Gerard of Pocatello and a juvenile male were transported to Porteuf Medical Center.
There condition is unknown.
Preliminary investigation indicates seat belts were not being worn by passengers in the vehicle, according to a news release.
The accident remains under investigation.
