BONNEVILLE COUNTY — On Sept. 27th, at approximately 7:55pm, Bonneville County Deputies and Idaho Falls Ambulance were called to a residence on Greenwillow Drive for a disturbance where two males had been injured in a fight.
Upon arrival deputies found that the homeowner had been in an argument over property with 26-year-old Jeramie Seward who had been staying there. That argument escalated into a physical fight resulting in the homeowner having an eye injury.
During the fight, 30-year-old Cody Nelson, a neighbor, made threats of using a BB gun to end the fight and struck Seward in the head twice with a baseball bat causing injury to Seward.
Idaho Falls Ambulance transported Seward to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries, after which he was taken into custody and booked into the Bonneville County Jail for misdemeanor battery. Nelson was placed under arrest and booked into jail for felony aggravated battery. The homeowner was treated at the scene for an eye injury and released.
