Pocatello woman arrested after allegedly pointing pellet gun at 2 people
POCATELLO — A Pocatello woman was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault after police were called to an argument Wednesday night.
Officers responded to the area of 1415 South 5th regarding the disturbance around 10:30 p.m.
Samantha Linehan is accused of entering the front door with what appeared to be a black handgun, according to a police report. She then allegedly pointed it at two of the people involved in the disturbance.
Officers found the firearm and learned it was a pellet gun. Because she pointed the firearm at two people, Linehan was arrested and booked into the Bannock County Jail.
She is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
