IDAHO FALLS — A runoff election will be held Dec. 5 between Idaho Falls Mayor Rebecca Casper and City Councilwoman Barbara Ehardt. They were among five people running for Idaho Falls mayor but none of the candidates received the required fifty percent plus one vote needed to be elected to office.

Casper and Ehardt agreed to sit down with EastIdahoNews.com reporter Nate Eaton for a community forum. A variety of issues were discussed and each candidate was given the opportunity to ask the other a question.

Registered voters living in the city of Idaho Falls can vote in the runoff election on Dec. 5. Early voting is currently underway.
