Idaho Falls woman arrested on burglary, drug charges

The following is a news release from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.

BONNEVILLE COUNTY — On Nov. 25, at approximately 3 p.m., Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a vehicle burglary on the 1400 block of Curlew Dr. in Ammon. The reporting party discovered a female adult inside a vehicle and items missing.

The female suspect had left on foot prior to the deputies arrival; however, another caller in the area observed a female attempting to enter vehicles down the street.

Deputies were able to locate the suspect and identify her as Jamie K. Spaulding, 36, of Idaho Falls. Spaulding was found to be in possession of items and tools used for burglarizing vehicles as well as a small amount of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Spaulding was arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail for felony charges of burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
