One person injured after car smashes into manure spreader
Published at | Updated atRIRIE — Idaho State Police are investigating a single vehicle injury crash in the eastbound lane of U.S. Highway 26.
The accident occurred at about 10:12 a.m. Friday at mile marker 347, according to ISP dispatchers.
Police reports show Devin Newman, 18, of Idaho Falls, was driving eastbound on US 26 in a 2004 Nissan Sentra. Newman drove off the left shoulder and collided with a manure spreader. Newman was transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Newman was not wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries.
The Idaho State Police was assisted by Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and Iona Police Department.
