Police investigating rollover crash involving sheriff deputy’s vehicle

ST. ANTHONY — Authorities are on the scene of a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 20 involving a Fremont County Sheriff deputy’s vehicle.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at mile marker 343 near the first St. Anthony exit. The St. Anthony Police Department responded to the scene and is investigating the crash.
Witnesses say the deputy appeared to be OK and slick roads may have contributed to the crash. The Idaho Transportation Department reports difficult driving conditions on US 20 north of St. Anthony. It’s also snowing in parts of Fremont County, where the National Weather Service predicts 1 to 3 inches of snow could fall today.
