Three adults arrested in Bonneville County on drug charges

The following is a news release from Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.

BONNEVILLE COUNTY – On November 24th, 2017 at approximately 12:00 p.m., Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho Falls Police Detectives served a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Leesburg Ln. in Idaho Falls related to an ongoing drug investigation.

During service of the warrant three adults were detained and identified as 30 year old Nicholas A. Kim, 28 year old Nita M. Corpuz, and 24 year old Tyler M. Kauffman, all of Idaho Falls.

During a search of the residence Detectives seized over 19 pounds of Marijuana, 4 firearms, several thousand dollars, and a vehicle believed to be used in trafficking illegal drugs.

All three were booked into the Bonneville County Jail for Felony Drug Trafficking, Nicholas Kim and Nita Corpuz were also booked for injury to a child.

No further information is available at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
