UPDATE: Vehicle found in Snake River was stolen

The following is a news release from the Idaho Falls Police Department.

Idaho Falls Police Department has confirmed that the vehicle that was found in the Snake River at Freeman Park yesterday was stolen. Officers have made contact with the owner. The owner was in the process of selling the vehicle, so it did not have license plates on it when removed from the river.
