Woman arrested for DUI after crashing into ditch

BONNEVILLE COUNTY — An Idaho Falls woman crashed into a ditch Thursday evening and was then arrested for misdemeanor driving under the influence.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Bryan Lovell confirmed Lori Bybee, 60, crashed her car into a ditch near E 97th South and South 1st East in Bonneville County at around 6 p.m.

The car landed upside down in the ditch and had to be pulled out. One other person was in the vehicle with Bybee.

Minor injuries were reported, but no one was transported to the hospital.

Bybee was booked into the Bonneville County Jail Thursday night, but was released after posting a $1,000 bond.

This was Bybee’s second DUI arrest. The first arrest was in 2015.
