Juvenile driver hospitalized after being struck by train
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — A 17-year-old male was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center with severe injuries Thursday night after his vehicle was struck by a train in northeast Bonneville County.
Authorities say the 17-year-old was traveling east on 81st North just after 5 p.m. when he failed to yield to an oncoming train near 6717 East.
The driver’s side of the juvenile’s vehicle was struck by a train and his car was pushed into a nearby field.
No other information has been released.
