  Published at

IDAHO FALLS — If you’re planning to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles for a driver’s license Monday afternoon, you may want to wait.

EastIdahoNews.com has confirmed the state’s driver’s license computer system is down and has been since around 1 p.m. Officials say the system is being worked on in Boise, but there is no word on how long it will take for it to be working again.

It is unclear if the problem only pertains to the driver’s license system or if other areas are affected as well.

EastIdahoNews.com will update this story as new information becomes available.
