BINGHAM COUNTY — The search continues for a man who went missing after falling into the Snake River Wednesday afternoon.
Bingham County Sheriff Craig Rowland says deputies have been searching the water but the weather is making the search difficult.
“It’s really hard to see the water. Where (we) need to go, the weather is terrible. The fog just rolled back in here. We thought we were going to be okay and then it just rolled right back in,” Rowland said.

Rowland said there are boats on the water searching from the boat ramp at Firth to a diversion downstream (south), or the North Bingham County Park.
There are three boats with side-scan sonar, two from Bingham County and one from Bonneville County, scouring the river for the missing man.
Two men fell into the water after their boat tipped over yesterday around 2:30 p.m. One man was able to swim to safety.
No ages or names have been released of the individuals at this time.
