UPDATE 12:20 p.m.

A man was arrested for reckless driving after crashing through a fence at Lincoln Cemetery Wednesday morning.

“He was traveling east on Lincoln and went over the island of the roundabout before going through the fence,” Bonneville County Sheriff Sgt. Bryan Lovell tells EastIdahoNews.com. “He told us it happened around 2 a.m. and he stayed in his car until daylight.”

A cemetery worker noticed the vehicle and called police, according to Lovell. Three of the wheels on the car were ripped off during the course of the crash.

When detectives arrived, Lovell says the man was given a breath test and his alcohol level was just under the legal limit. He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail on a reckless driving charge.
