REXBURG — Dalen Graham, a Brigham Young University-Idaho student, has died after succumbing to injures he sustained in a car crash Friday.

Graham’s parents confirmed to EastIdahoNews.com the 22-year-old California native was taken off life support at 5:16 a.m. Saturday. A number of his internal organs, including kidneys, liver, tissue and bone, were donated following his death to help others in need, mother Sharon Graham said in a Facebook post.

Graham was severely injured in a crash around 2:30 p.m. Friday. Graham and his sister, Mariah Graham, 18, were traveling in a white 1998 Chevrolet S10 south on Interstate 15, near milepost 92. The vehicle drove off the left shoulder of the road and then returned to the freeway, where police said the vehicle began to rotate. The truck rolled and came to a rest on its roof off of the right side of the road.

Mariah Graham suffered minor injuries and Dalen Graham was airlifted to Portneuf Medical Center.
