Man flown to hospital after hitting bull

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
RICHFIELD — On Friday, Feb. 9, at approximately 6:35 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash westbound on US-26 near milepost 185, north of Richfield, in Lincoln County.
Richard E. Peterson, 62 of Carey, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Classic westbound on US-26 near milepost 185. Peterson’s vehicle struck a bull that was in the roadway.
Peterson was transported via air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.
The roadway was blocked for approximately two and a half hours.
