IDAHO FALLS — Police are asking the public for help in locating 26-year-old Nikole “Nik” Hawkins, who is a suspect in multiple mail thefts over the past two weeks.
Police say the thefts occurred in Shelley, Idaho Falls, Iona, Ammon, and Bonneville County.
“She went down several streets and took ingoing and outgoing mail,” Idaho Falls Police spokeswoman Holly Cook tells EastIdahoNews.com. “She tried to get checks and credit cards and was successful in some circumstances.”
Hawkins has two active local warrants for two additional, unrelated offenses and a felony warrant from Nevada for multiple counts of burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card and grand larceny.
Investigators believe she is currently in Idaho Falls or the surrounding area.
