Fire crews respond to smoke report at Taco Bell

IDAHO FALLS — The Idaho Falls Fire Department was called to Taco Bell at 1000 East 17th Street Wednesday morning for a report of smoke coming from the vents.
The building was evacuated as a safety precaution and nobody was injured, according to spokeswoman Kerry Hammon. Firefighters say there was not an active fire in the building when they arrived.
Crews believe the fire was caused from an HVAC unit.
