Five pounds of drugs seized, two arrested after traffic stop on I-15

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
POCATELLO — On Thursday, March 29, at approximately 5:03 p.m., Idaho State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero traveling northbound on I-15 near mile marker 73, north of Pocatello, after observing traffic violations.
The driver was identified as Joseph Willoughby, 54, of Billings, Montana and the passenger was identified as John R. Veum, 54, also of Billings, Montana.
During the traffic stop, the trooper became aware criminal activity was taking place. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted revealing five pounds of methamphetamine.
Both Willoughby and Veum were arrested and booked into Bannock County Jail.
