Here’s a list of Easter Egg hunts happening this weekend in east Idaho

The following Easter egg hunts will be held in east Idaho over the next few days. If you are planning or know of a hunt open to the public that is not on this list, please email news@eastidahonews.com so we can add it.

3rd Annual Great Easter Egg Hunt at Snake River Landing

Saturday, March 31 10 a.m.

The Great Egg Hunt is coming to Idaho Falls to provide an annual fun filled event for the whole family! Egg hunt areas for kids 1-12!

With over 25,000 eggs, small age groups, large egg hunting zones, thousands of pieces of candy, tons of prizes for the kids, free photos with the Easter Bunny, and tons of fun.

A few changes are being made this year to help ensure a great year for everyone:

– A larger area with wave starts so that kids have the most enjoyable time possible.
– Individual Age Group Start times: Age groups promised to not start before start time.
– No parents allow inside entry barriers except for 1-2 year olds. There will be entry areas for kids access only.
– More activities to go along with the eggs. Take advantage of picture boards, special guests and fun games.

2018 Schedule:

10:00 A.M – Event Start
10:10 A.M. – 9-12 Year olds and 1-2 year olds (separate areas)
10:20 A.M. – 3-4 Year olds
10:30 A.M. – 5-6 Year olds
10:40 A.M. – 7-8 Year olds

Ammon Fire Department Easter Egg Hunt at McCowin Park

Saturday, March 31 10 a.m.

The free event will take place in the center of McCowin Park, adjacent to the City of Ammon Pool, and will start promptly at 10 a.m. The hunt will be divided up into appropriate age groups, ranging from “0-2 months” all the way up to “10-12 years old”. Each age group will have special grand prizes for two lucky children in each age group.

This is the 22nd consecutive year that the City of Ammon and Ammon Fire Department have hosted an Easter Egg Hunt. The Ammon Fire Department will have several fire engines for citizens to tour and “Sparky the Fire Dog” will be there to meet and greet as well.

Rigby City Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 31 10 a.m.

The event happens at the Rigby City park. Kids of all ages are invited.

Ucon Fire Department Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 31 10 a.m.

It’s time again for the Annual Easter Egg hunt. Bring all your little ones to the park next to Ucon Elementary School at 10 a.m. Saturday.

We will have different areas for all ages. The kids will be turned loose right at 10 a.m., so make sure to get there early. As always, there will be eggs in the mist of them all that have a special prize in them. Years past have included brand new bikes.

Rexburg Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 31 9 a.m.

The Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt. The egg hunt will consist of 16,000 eggs, many pieces of candy to go around, bike rides for the children and much more. It will be located at Porter Park.

Teton Vu Drive-In Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Saturday, March 31 8 a.m.

The Teton Vu Drive in Theater on Yellowstone will be hosting a Easter egg hunt and breakfast beginning at 9:30 a.m. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. $4 for adults; $2.50 for children. Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny along with arts and crafts will be available.

Snake River BMX Easter Egg Hunt at Pinecrest Event Center

Saturday, March 31 10 a.m.

Indoor Easter egg hunt open to the public. Lots of eggs filled with candy and prizes. Pinecrest Event Center is located at 560 E. Anderson in Idaho Falls. Doors open at 9 a.m. Hunt starts at 10 a.m.

Find the Easter Bunny Downtown Idaho Falls

Saturday, March 31 12-3

Where is the Easter Bunny? Downtown of course! Go on a hide-and-seek adventure to find the hidden bunnies. We have hidden the bunnies in the downtown shops and you need to come see if you can find them!

Meet at Civitan Plaza to pick up your card to find the bunnies downtown.

Once you have found all the bunnies go to Weebee Toys (492 Shoup Ave.) where you will be able to pick out a prize and meet the Easter Bunny.

Community Easter Egg Hunt at Hope Lutheran Church

Saturday, March 31 11 a.m.

Invite your family and friends to our community Easter Egg Hunt! Be sure to get here early as the hunt starts promptly at 11:00 a.m. It is over by 11:02 a.m.! Our hunt is open to children up to 12 years old. We have 3 age group areas, so the toddlers will not have to compete with the older children. Hope Lutheran enjoys hosting this event and seeing the youthful excitement. We hope you join us.

Bills Bike and Run Annual Easter Egg Run

Saturday, March 31 4:30 a.m.

The Idaho Falls Greenbelt starting at Bill’s Bike & Run and following our most common group run route north up and around Freeman Park. Eggs will be hidden on both sides of the Greenbelt and around the park path. All eggs will be close proximity to the paved path.

Everyone is encouraged to go out for their early morning run and keep an eye out for an egg. You are limited to one egg. Choose wisely. Every egg will have a number inside it and that number will be associated with a prize. You must redeem your egg at Bills Bike and Run (Idaho Falls location) by the end of the day during normal store hours 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to get your prize. Cannot claim prize for another runner. To claim a prize runners must be 12 or older. Prizes will include everything from free socks, huge discounts, free gear, gift cards, free Shoes, and more! Every egg will get a prize! Over 250 eggs will be hidden.

Eggstra! Eggstra! Read all about it! Join us for the most eggciting Easter Egg Hunt in town! Everybunny in the family is welcome. With a coloring station, toys and prizes, and eggcellent deals, this event is sure to delight kids of all ages.

Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs

Saturday, March 31 10 a.m.

We will be hosting our 7th annual Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs and their families at Bonneville High School on Iona Road in Idaho Falls. This was a huge success last year, we had over 5,000 eggs, lots of prizes and even a visit from the Easter Bunny!

We’ll have designated areas for children from 1-10+ and a separate accessible area for our kids in wheelchairs and using walkers. Most of the candy will be gluten free! We will also have alternative non food options for those children that can’t/don’t eat candy.

We know you can’t be in two places at once so typical siblings ARE welcome to attend. We just ask that they are mindful of others and make sure everyone gets their fair share of candy.

The Gables of Ammon Assisted Living Easter Egg Hunt

Come and join us the week after Easter at 1405 Curlew Dr. on the north side of the building. Children of all ages invited.

Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt in St. Anthony

Saturday, March 31 11:30 a.m.

The Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt will be at the St. Anthony Baseball Fields. An egg hunt open to the public will happen at 9 a.m. Organized by Fremont County Search and Rescue, this is the first time this event will occur for all children and adults with special needs.

Fat Cats Easter Egg Hunt

Fat Cats will be hosing an Easter egg hunt with doors opening at 8:30 a.m.

Harvestview Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 31 10:30 a.m.

Harvestview Baptist Church is hosting an egg hunt for kids after its Easter service, “Experience Easter,” at 10:30 a.m. We meets at the SpringHill Suites Hotel (1177 S. Yellowstone Hwy). There are almost 1000 eggs for the kids, a free gift for each adult guest and a light reception with finger foods after the service.

GTC Adult Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

Friday, March 30 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

All adults 18 and over can participate in this Easter Egg Hunt at Porter Park in Rexburg. There will be 6,000 Easter Eggs spread out all over the park, and you will be searching for the hundreds of winning plastic eggs with only a flashlight to help illuminate your way!

There will be hundreds of prizes, door prizes and the GRAND PRIZE is a 55″ Flat Screen 4K UHD TV. The first 200 participants to register online will receive an Easter “Thank you” gift. Walk-ins are welcome to register at the event.
All eggs are empty and ONLY select eggs are redeemable for prizes

This event is held rain or shine so come bring your friends and have a blast searching for eggs at the Adult Flashlight Easter Egg hunt.

The Gem Village Assisted Living Easter Egg Hunt (490 Emerald Ave, Blackfoot) is catered to those with special needs. We will have eggs with toys and other prizes for those dietary restrictions along with plenty of eggs filled with candy. We will a bouncy castle (weather permitting) and photos with our Easter Bunny.
